One little hop, one more step! Step is a timing game in which a charming raincoat girl travels between numbered platforms. Watch the small circle rotating around the character and move when it lines up with the next landing area. The input is simple, but the moment you choose determines where the next step will take you.
This is not a path you cross by tapping as fast as possible. You need to read the moving marker together with the position of the next platform. Acting too early can send the character outside the landing area, while waiting too long can end the attempt. Keep the journey going with one deliberate input at a time.
How to Play
- Select the play button and locate the next numbered platform. A small circle rotates around your character to show the moving timing opportunity.
- Watch for the circle to enter the next platform. The right moment depends on the direction from your current platform to the target.
- Tap or click the screen at that moment to move. Landing successfully on the next platform increases your STEP count.
- After landing, reassess the next target from the new position. Do not rely only on the timing of the previous jump; check the current direction and marker.
- The small circle becomes smaller as it revolves. Failing to move within three revolutions ends the attempt, so you cannot wait indefinitely.
- Falling outside a platform also ends the run. Review STEP SCORE, PERFECT SCORE, TOTAL SCORE, and HIGH SCORE on the result screen, then try again.
Know Where the Marker Needs to Go
At first, following the rotating circle can make it easy to forget the next platform. Identify the target location before concentrating on the motion. With a destination in mind, the useful part of the rotation becomes easier to recognize.
Be careful about reacting when the marker only seems to skim the platform's edge. Build a feel for selecting the moment when it is inside the landing area. Begin with the goal of making one reliable move rather than immediately trying to rush through many platforms.
A Timing Challenge with Limited Waiting
Searching for a good moment has its own limit. The circle shrinks as it rotates, and three revolutions without a move lead to failure. Accuracy and decisiveness therefore need to work together. Notice the target from the first rotation so you have less to figure out at the last moment.
If you miss an opportunity, avoid turning hesitation into a hurried jump in the wrong direction. Watch for the next pass through the target and make the clearest choice available within the remaining chance. The aim is to match the movement you can see with a confident input.
Every Landing Begins a New Decision
Reaching a platform changes the situation around the character. Check the next position instead of repeating the previous rhythm automatically. The challenge builds through these small adjustments, with each successful landing adding another step to your run.
After an attempt, consider whether you acted too early, too late, or waited too long. Use the result as a reference for a manageable next goal. Safely crossing one more platform is a clear way to see your timing become more consistent.
With its little raincoat heroine and clean circular platforms, Step keeps the focus on a brief, readable challenge. Follow the rotating marker, choose the moment, and see how far your next sequence of well-timed hops can go!
