Find the name in the picture, then build it from the letters! Word Chase is a picture quiz in which you identify a subject and assemble its answer using the characters provided. Explore familiar animals and food-related themes, study each image, and choose the pieces that complete the name.
A subject may look immediately recognizable, yet finding its name among a set of characters adds another small challenge. Check the number of answer spaces and compare the picture with the available choices. Each puzzle turns observation into a word, giving you a clear goal to work toward one question at a time.
How to Play
- Select the play button and choose an available quiz category. The category screen includes themes such as animals, snacks, and drinks.
- Choose an unlocked question from the level list. Use the category's completion count and stage indicators to see where you are in the set.
- Look closely at the photograph and consider what it shows. Pay attention to the subject's overall features as well as individual details.
- Count the empty answer spaces beneath the picture. Compare that length with the name you have in mind to narrow down your options.
- Select the supplied characters in the order needed to form the answer. Your task is to build the name that matches the pictured subject from the choices on the screen.
- If you become stuck, the magnifying-glass hint can help. Check the remaining count and use it when another look at the image and characters is not enough.
Use the Picture and Answer Length Together
If a name does not come to mind immediately, first identify the kind of subject you are looking at. The selected category helps establish that context. Then examine its most distinctive features and compare your possible answer with the spaces provided.
A name that does not fit the answer length may suggest that you should consider another possibility. Avoid settling on the first word that occurs to you after only a quick glance. Look for an answer supported by the picture, the number of spaces, and the actual characters available.
Read the Character Choices Carefully
Knowing the likely answer is only part of assembling it. Check that all the characters you need are present, and follow the complete word in order rather than guessing after its opening character. Similar-looking choices deserve a second look.
The Korean version presents Hangul character tiles. Their arrangement on the board is different from the order of the final answer, so use the name you have identified to select the appropriate tiles. Thinking of the complete answer first gives the choices a clear purpose.
Begin with a Theme You Know
A familiar category is a comfortable place to start. Even a well-known subject can look a little different in a particular photograph, and comparing its appearance with the character choices is part of the appeal. Each question gives you another small observation to make and another name to put together.
Follow your progress through the level list at your own pace. When a picture is difficult, reconsider its features and the answer length, then use a hint if needed. Explore Word Chase one image at a time and bring the scattered characters together into the name you are looking for!
