Small coins can become something much bigger! Piggy Bank is a merging puzzle about gathering matching coins, moving them between columns, and meeting the conditions that turn them into higher-value coins. Join a cheerful pig fairy as you organize the board and discover how one successful merge can create the opportunity for another.
The number on a coin matters as much as its color. Some denominations need a group of at least five, while others merge from just two. Collect useful groups from the descending arrangement, choose where to send them back, and build connections that make the most of the space available.
How to Play
- Select START and inspect the bottom coin in each vertical column. Choose a column to bring its lowest coin down to your character.
- Consecutive coins of the same type in that column can be collected together. Check how many matching values follow the bottom coin rather than looking at only one piece.
- You can gather additional coins of the same type from other columns. Compare the exposed bottom coins to assemble the group you need.
- Drag upward in the column where you want to return the collected coins. Choose a destination that lets them connect with matching coins on the board.
- Remember the merge requirements: 1, 10, and 100 coins need at least five, while 5, 50, and 500 coins need at least two. For example, two 5 coins become 10, and five 100 coins become 500.
- Inspect the new arrangement after a merge and look for the next connection. Keep watching the descending coins and the space near the bottom as you build your score.
Collection Order Changes Your Options
The bottom coin of a column determines which group you can reach immediately. A useful set farther up may be blocked by a different denomination in front of it. Begin with the coins that are accessible, then consider what moving them will reveal behind them.
Collecting several matching coins from a single column can help you reach the required count efficiently. Where you return them is just as important, however. Compare the value you are holding with the nearby values and decide where a useful merge could happen before sending the group upward.
Use the Difference Between Two and Five
Every denomination does not follow the same group size. Recognizing which coins need two and which need five helps you judge what can be completed now and what still needs more pieces. Learning the colors together with the numbers makes the board easier to read when the columns grow longer.
A newly created coin can also change the possibilities around it. After a successful merge, check whether the new value can connect to another matching group. Turning a small combination into the start of a larger sequence is one of the most satisfying parts of the puzzle.
Make Room as the Board Descends
The arrangement does not remain still while you think. More coins descend, so pay attention to columns extending toward the bottom rather than staring at one place for too long. Looking across several columns helps you find both immediate matches and groups worth preparing for later.
Start by making one reliable merge. As the controls become familiar, move between columns to gather useful coins and plan what should happen after you send them back. A deliberate collection can be more valuable than moving coins without a destination in mind.
With its colorful denominations and friendly pig fairy, Piggy Bank turns small pieces into a lively puzzle of growing values. Gather carefully, send the coins into the right place, and see how far your next chain of merges can carry your score!
