A quiet street becomes a lively parade of unusual companions. Yokai Party is an idle collection game in which you summon charming yokai and use the gold they earn to prepare for new residents and more space. Begin with a single creature and watch a small gathering grow into a colorful party.
Collecting gold is only part of the progression. Meet the requirements for new yokai contracts, expand your population limit, and compare the benefits of maps and skills. The game combines the pleasure of watching your residents work with decisions about what to improve next.
How to play
- Open the summon menu and call an available yokai to the street. Active yokai earn gold on their own. Check your gold total and the current and maximum population at the top of the screen.
- Use accumulated gold to summon more residents. Make sure you have population space for them. As the group grows, more characters join the activity on the street.
- For a yokai that is not yet available, open its contract details. Meet the listed conditions, such as a required number of residents, and prepare the contract fee. Having enough gold alone does not necessarily satisfy every requirement.
- Use the population menu to increase the number of yokai that can live in your area. Compare the expansion cost with your remaining space and the population needed for your next goal.
- Inspect new locations in the map menu. Additional maps provide room for more yokai and can offer benefits to the gold earned or the speed at which residents collect it. Read both the conditions and the listed effects.
- Visit upgrades to compare skills affecting income, collection speed, summoning costs, sleep chances, and more. Sleeping yokai stop earning gold, so tap them to wake them when needed.
Let the next contract guide your plan
If you want to meet a new yokai, first check what its contract requires. A population requirement may call for more summons and a larger capacity, while a gold requirement gives your current residents another target to work toward. Knowing what is missing makes the next decision clearer.
Before spending all your gold on one option, identify the condition currently limiting your progress. Expanding a full population and unlocking a new kind of yokai solve different problems. Complete one manageable goal at a time and let the party grow around those choices.
Contracts give the collection a direction beyond simply watching the gold counter rise. Each silhouette can become a reason to plan an expansion, improve income, or invite another resident.
Give your yokai a little attention
Yokai earn automatically, but their activity does not always remain the same. A sleeping resident stops contributing income until you wake it with a tap. This gives you small moments of direct care alongside the idle progression.
You may also encounter special golden yokai. They earn gold twice as quickly, adding a welcome variation to the residents on your street. The upgrade menu includes an option related to golden yokai, so inspect its effect as your collection develops.
Watch the characters as well as the totals. The state of an individual resident can explain a change in the activity you see, and a brief check can help keep the party moving.
More space, more ways to develop
A new map is both a home for additional yokai and a longer-term objective. Look beyond its scenery to the purchase conditions and income-related benefits. Skills also serve different purposes: some improve rewards, others affect collection speed or make residents easier to manage.
Choose improvements according to the stage your party has reached rather than assuming that every upgrade solves the same problem. A useful next step might be another resident, more capacity, or a skill that supports the group you already have.
Summon distinctive companions, complete contracts, and gradually change the scene on your street. With straightforward controls and a growing set of collection goals, Yokai Party gives you a parade to build one resident at a time.
