From a tiny grape to a giant golden watermelon
Merge Fruit is a dropping and merging puzzle in which matching fruits meet to create a larger one. Bring grapes together to make cherries, combine cherries into tangerines, and discover the fruit that comes next.
Your long-term goal is the biggest golden watermelon. Reaching it starts with small placement decisions that give matching fruits a chance to touch and grow through successive stages.
The next merge begins with where you drop
Fruit falls from the top and settles on the floor or on the pieces already below. Matching fruits that land far apart are harder to bring together, so consider both the current drop and the partner you will need later.
Growing larger fruit and managing the available space go hand in hand. Watch for small pieces trapped in gaps, and leave a useful approach for the next matching fruit near a larger one.
How to play
- Press GAME START and check the fruit ready to drop. Look at the upcoming-fruit preview as well before making your choice.
- Choose a drop position. Locate a matching fruit below and notice any other pieces that may affect where the new one settles.
- Drop the fruit at your chosen position. Watch it land on the floor or the existing pile and see where it comes to rest.
- Bring identical fruits into contact to create the next stage. Follow the progression from grapes to cherries and from cherries to tangerines.
- Reassess the size and arrangement after a merge. Plan the next drop from the fruit positions you now have, not only from the layout you expected.
- Keep creating new fruit and building your score. Link smaller merges together as you work toward the golden watermelon.
Use the preview to plan a little farther
Looking only at the current fruit can leave an awkward decision for the next one. Use the preview to consider both a match available now and a pair you could prepare with the upcoming piece.
Keeping similar fruits in a related area can make it easier to bring them together. At the same time, check the height across the pile so that concentrating one type does not crowd a single side too heavily.
Before placing a small fruit into a convenient gap, think about how another of the same type could reach it. A space that looks tidy immediately may become less useful if larger pieces block the approach.
Let the board settle after a merge
Creating a larger fruit can change the arrangement nearby. Watch where the new fruit moves and which pieces become close to one another before rushing into the next drop.
A merge may create an opportunity for another matching pair to meet. Leaving room for those changes makes the placement puzzle more interesting than simply aiming at the first identical fruit you see.
The exact resting place matters. A fruit that rolls slightly to one side may need a different approach from the next piece, so update your plan as the pile develops.
Give yourself more than one goal
Your current score tracks the ongoing attempt, while the opening screen shows your best score. You can work toward a larger fruit and a better personal score within the same round.
You do not have to reach the final fruit immediately to find a useful milestone. Creating a stage you have not reached before is another way to give the next few placements a clear purpose.
After an attempt, think about which parts of the pile were easy to merge and which became difficult to reach. Those observations can guide a cleaner arrangement next time.
A simple drop with an engaging decision behind it
Merge Fruit combines easy position selection with falling fruit, changing sizes, and space management. Each pair that becomes something new creates another reason to look forward to the next stage.
Choose the next landing spot, bring matching fruits together, and let small successes grow into larger possibilities. Build your way toward the golden watermelon, one thoughtful drop at a time.
