Three matching pictures, one satisfying little puzzle
3Tiles is a picture-matching game where you select cute animal tiles and collect identical pictures in groups of three. Move available tiles into the tray below, complete a trio, and keep clearing the field until the stage is finished.
Friendly birds, sheep, giraffes, and rabbits make the pictures easy to recognize. Beneath the simple matching rule is a useful planning question: which tile should you choose first to make the next match possible?
Your selection order changes what comes next
Selected tiles move into the lower tray. Three of the same picture form a group that clears, so you need to keep track of both the tiles already chosen and the matching pictures still on the field.
Where tiles are stacked, the upper pieces must be addressed before the pictures below become accessible. Removing one tile can therefore be useful for what it reveals as well as for the picture it adds to your tray.
How to play
- Look across the field and locate repeated pictures. Check which tiles are currently available to select.
- Tap a tile to move it into the tray at the bottom. Remember its picture and look for the matching tiles needed to finish the group.
- Collect three identical pictures to clear a trio. Use the newly available tray space to begin or complete another group.
- Work through stacked layouts from the top. Recheck the pictures uncovered after a tile is removed and adjust your order when useful.
- Look at Undo, Hint, and Shuffle when you need assistance. Check the available uses before choosing the tool that suits the situation.
- Remove every tile from the field to complete the stage. Keep the time gauge and star indicators in view as you search for the next trio.
Keep your tray working for you
Choosing many unrelated pictures can make your next complete group harder to organize. If two matching tiles are already in the tray, look for an accessible third before adding another picture type without a plan.
At the same time, a different tile may be the key to uncovering that missing match. Consider the layers of the board rather than focusing only on pictures that are immediately exposed.
After a group clears, glance at the tray again. Seeing exactly what remains is more reliable than relying on the selection sequence you remember from several moves earlier.
Plan a trio before tapping quickly
The upper gauge and stars change during play, giving you a reason to keep your search moving. Spotting the locations of a complete set before selecting it can help you act with both speed and confidence.
Avoid rushing into unrelated choices simply because a tile is easy to reach. A brief scan may reveal a complete trio or a better first tile that opens the route to one.
Every cleared section reduces the number of pictures to examine, but it can also reveal new ones. Refresh your view of the whole field when the arrangement changes.
Use assistance with a clear purpose
Undo lets you reconsider a recent choice, while Hint and Shuffle provide other ways to approach a difficult position. The displayed counts help you track the assistance still available.
Ask what is causing the difficulty before choosing a tool. A selection you want to revisit is a different problem from being unable to spot the next useful match.
Enjoy the board becoming clear
Simple tap controls and recognizable animal pictures make the game easy to begin. The satisfying part is watching small groups disappear and seeing a crowded field gradually become manageable.
Find the matching pictures, manage the tray, and look ahead to the tiles your choices will reveal. In 3Tiles, each well-chosen trio brings you closer to a completely clear stage.
