One swing, one boy, and a much farther goal
HomeRunBoy is a batting and progression game about sending a ball as far as you can. Choose your swing timing, follow the ball's journey, collect the reward, and build up your abilities for the next attempt.
The adventure begins with a boy practicing outside, but his ambitions stretch well beyond the starting point. Watch the ball travel along the road and bounce onward as you wonder how far this particular hit will go.
Timing starts the hit; upgrades support the journey
Before a swing, a moving indicator appears on the batting gauge in front of the character. Watch its movement and choose when to hit, then compare the resulting distance with your other attempts.
Progress also comes from repeated play and upgrades. Each completed run gives you an opportunity to collect resources and decide how to prepare for a more ambitious shot.
How to play
- Check the batting screen for your current distance record, the next distance target, and the resources you have available. The upgrade options are arranged along the bottom.
- Watch the moving batting gauge. Tap the screen at your chosen moment to make the boy swing.
- Follow the ball as its distance increases. Let the flight and the bounces play out before judging the final result.
- Collect the reward shown when the run ends. Save the in-game resources for improvements before another attempt.
- Compare the levels and costs of POWER, SPEED, BOUNCE, and SUPPORT. Choose an available upgrade that fits your next plan.
- Hit again and compare the new result with your previous distance. Keep refining your timing and growth choices as you aim farther.
Decide what to improve next
The four upgrade categories give you several directions to explore. Their current levels and next costs are visible, helping you see what you can afford before committing your collected resources.
Rather than trying to improve everything at once, choose a manageable next step. Playing another run after an upgrade lets you observe the new result and decide what goal to work toward afterward.
The rhythm is easy to follow: make a hit, collect the reward, improve an ability, and return to the batting position. Each part gives the next attempt a little more purpose.
Learn from more than your longest hit
Give yourself a moment to watch the indicator instead of tapping immediately. Comparing several swings can help you become more familiar with the timing and the outcomes it produces.
A shorter attempt can still contribute to progress through the resources it earns. Use it as part of the process of building up rather than treating only a new record as a useful run.
Remember that the first landing is not necessarily the end of the journey. Follow the ball through its bounces and onward movement, then use the final distance as the result of that attempt.
Keep the next milestone in view
The game screen presents a distance target alongside your progress, giving each session a concrete goal. Reaching one mark creates a reason to look farther down the road on the next swing.
As you progress, you can also encounter unlocks such as new bats. These changes add something to discover alongside the increasing distance record and ability levels.
You do not need a complicated sequence of controls to begin. The challenge grows from choosing your moment and deciding how to use the rewards of repeated practice.
Take another swing at your best distance
A compact batting action, a camera that follows the ball, and a clear upgrade loop make HomeRunBoy easy to return to for another try. Every run asks a simple question: can you send this one a little farther?
Join the boy's dream of becoming a home-run champion. Learn the gauge, strengthen your abilities, and turn the next swing into a new personal distance record.
