Bring a little order to a colorful puzzle. In Water Sort Puzzle, you move layers of colored water between bottles until matching colors are collected together.
Every pour is simple to make, but deciding what to pour next gives you a satisfying reason to pause and plan.
How to play — choose each transfer in order
- Inspect the top color and available space in every bottle. Also notice the layers underneath: they become accessible only after the water above them has been moved.
- Select the source bottle first, then the destination. Water moves from the top, so you cannot directly pick a color from the middle of a bottle.
- Check that the receiving bottle has a matching top color and enough room for the transfer. If the conditions do not fit, use a different bottle to make space or choose another color to move first.
- After pouring, look at the color newly exposed in the source bottle. Reassess the moves now available and continue gathering matching colors together.
- Sort the arrangement to clear the level and continue. Capped, completed bottles help you distinguish the finished work from the bottles that still need attention.
A two-color example
Imagine red water above pink in one bottle, with red also on top of another. If the second bottle has enough room, moving red into it can expose the pink layer in the first bottle.
You can then look for a place to collect that pink water. Think about both the color you are combining now and the layer you want to make available next.
Check the space left behind
Before a move, ask which bottle will still have room afterward. Gathering a large amount of one color can look helpful, but leaving no space for another transfer may make the next choice difficult.
If you keep moving water back and forth between the same bottles, inspect the whole arrangement again. Try setting the goal of uncovering a particular buried color rather than making any matching move you can see.
Use another attempt thoughtfully
Check your remaining undo uses when you want to explore a different order. When restarting, remember where the previous attempt became stuck and change the decision just before that point to look for a new route.
Select, pour, and match
Choose the bottle you want to pour from, then choose its destination. Water can join a matching color on top of another bottle only when there is enough room.
Both the color and the available space matter: a matching bottle cannot help if it is already full.
Make space for your next move
Look beyond the layer on top. Moving one color reveals another underneath, and an empty space can be just what you need to untangle the arrangement.
Consider which bottle should hold each color and how you will keep room available while you work. A thoughtful sequence of small moves can bring a messy-looking puzzle into order.
Complete one bottle at a time
Watch the water pour and the colors come together. A finished bottle receives a cork, giving you a clear sign of progress.
Once the arrangement is solved, the clear screen lets you continue to the next level and take on another sorting challenge.
Try a different approach
Restart the level when you want a fresh attempt, or use the undo control while you have moves remaining. If a solution is hard to see, inspect all the bottles again and work out where you need an open space.
Finding the right order is part of the fun.
