Run, shoot, absorb, and become a bigger number!
Number Shoot! is a casual action game in which your number travels along a course while firing numbered shots ahead. Following Number Rush, this entry adds shooting to the series' combination of movement and number growth.
Start small, build up the numbers you can absorb, and collect them to grow. The large numbers waiting at the end give that preparation a purpose: your choices along the route shape the strength you bring to the final stretch.
Your route is part of your growth
As the course advances, collectible numbers, gates, and hazards approach. Moving sideways changes the line you travel and the targets in front of you, so look beyond the nearest item before committing to a direction.
Growing is satisfying, but reaching useful targets safely also matters. Each short stretch asks you to balance an opportunity to collect with the space you need to avoid an obstacle.
How to play
- Check the round and preparation screen, then tap to start. Your number moves along the course and sends shots forward as the run unfolds.
- Hold and move horizontally to adjust your position. Read the approaching numbers and gates early so you can line up with your intended route.
- Fire toward numbers that can be built up and absorbed, then collect them along your path. Watch your own value change and choose the next target accordingly.
- Read gates marked with abilities such as FIRERATE and RANGE. Check both the affected ability and the displayed adjustment before choosing which side to pass through.
- Avoid spikes and other hazards while moving toward the final section. If a useful number is close to danger, plan how you will approach it and where you will move afterward.
- Advance into the large numbers at the end and review the result. Before another run, inspect the starting-number, firing-rate, and range upgrades available on the preparation screen.
Collecting and choosing gates go together
A number you want to absorb may not be on the same side as your next preferred gate. Think about whether you have room to move between them rather than following each object in isolation.
Read the gate labels and values instead of relying only on their colors. Knowing whether a gate affects firing rate or range gives you a clearer reason for choosing a route.
The course keeps moving, so the useful decision is often the one you make a little early. A clear line toward the next target can be more manageable than a sudden move at the last moment.
Shooting gives number growth a new role
Your shots are tied to the size of your number, making that value central to the run. Firing toward targets and absorbing numbers turns a small starting value into something visibly different as you progress.
The large-number sequence near the end lets you see what your preparation has produced. Think not only about reaching that section, but also about the value and abilities you bring into it.
Tips for a steadier run
Look at your next collectible and the hazards beyond it together. Moving into position gradually can make the route easier to control than waiting until an object is almost beneath you.
When you follow a nearby number, check what lies behind it. Leave yourself room to move away from spikes after collecting instead of treating the pickup as the end of the decision.
Before purchasing an upgrade, compare its effect and cost. Starting number, firing rate, and range affect different parts of the experience, so use your previous run to decide what you want to improve next.
A compact mix of action and growth
Numbers are both your character and part of the shooting action, making changes easy to follow on screen. Horizontal movement keeps the controls direct while collecting, gate selection, and hazard avoidance give each run several things to consider.
Turn a small starting number into a stronger finish. How much can you grow before the final stretch of your next round?
