Move the little blocks together and watch them become something new! FusionPop is a merging puzzle played on a board of hexagonal cells. Bring three or more matching blocks together, enjoy their transformation, and look for the space that will support your next combination.
An empty destination is only part of the solution. A block also needs an open route to reach it. Think about the path between the starting point and the place you want to use, then balance your merging plans with the lanes you need to keep available.
How to Play
- Touch the start screen and inspect the blocks on the hexagonal board. Look for matching colors and appearances that could be brought together.
- Select a block, then select the empty cell where you want it to move. The destination must be reachable through an available path.
- Arrange three or more matching blocks together. When the grouping condition is met, they merge into a new block.
- Check the color and position of the result before planning another combination. Include any newly appearing pieces in your reading of the board.
- A blocked route prevents a block from reaching the desired place. Inspect the connected empty spaces before committing to a destination.
- The tutorial explains that occasional obstacle blocks can be removed by merging nearby. Continue combining pieces and managing space while following your score and BEST SCORE.
Trace the Route Before Choosing the Destination
A gap beside a matching pair may look ideal, but the third block still has to reach it. Follow the empty cells from the piece to the target. A route that takes a detour may be more useful than a nearby position that is cut off.
Moving one block can change the paths available to others. Before occupying a narrow passage, consider whether another piece will need to cross it on your next move. Keeping the board connected is part of preparing a successful combination.
Leave a Place for the Third Block
When two matching pieces are near one another, consider several possible cells for completing the group. Having more than one candidate helps when one approach becomes blocked. The closest-looking cell does not have to be your only plan.
The new block produced by a merge becomes part of the next puzzle. Look for matching pieces nearby that might support a later combination. Recheck the actual result rather than assuming the colors and positions from your earlier plan still apply.
Turn Obstacles into a Planning Goal
According to the tutorial, merging beside an obstacle can remove it. Instead of treating the surrounding area only as somewhere to avoid, consider whether you can assemble a matching group there. A useful merge may also help reopen movement through that part of the board.
Do not crowd every piece into one area at the expense of all other routes. It may be more practical to complete an available merge elsewhere first, create room, and then reconsider the blocked region. Work with the pieces and open cells you actually have.
Read the Board Again After Each Move
The score is only one part of the result. Check whether a merge has opened an area, whether a new piece changes a route, and which groups are now close to completion. These small observations keep your next move connected to the current situation.
FusionPop brings expressive little characters and warm colors to a puzzle about grouping and access. Open a path, choose the next landing cell, and bring matching blocks together. Discover how a carefully placed piece can begin your next satisfying merge and a new score to beat!
